In France and Europe, millions of ink cartridges and toners are used each year, which generates several thousand tons of waste. Even if some of this printing waste passes to the collectors who recycle them, there comes a time when their repair or refilling is no longer possible and they become waste.
Therefore, thousands of tons of plastic resins and metals can not find a satisfactory outlet.
Based on this observation and also thanks to the optimisation of recycling, Environnement Massif Central naturally took an interest in this niche by deciding to set up a recycling industry which is reliable, economical and respectful to humans and the environment.
Since its start-up in November 2016, this facility is the only industrial unit for the recycling of printing waste to date in France.
