Environment Massif Central produces two categories of wood after sorting, grinding and screening:
Class A Wood
Out of waste status: This is untreated, unpainted, clean wood. Class A wood is used to feed all types of industrial or collective boilers for the purpose of creating heat and energy. The granulometry is adapted according to the requirements of the consumers.
Class B Wood
This includes painted and moulded wood, chipboard…
Class B wood is used by industries when manufacturing chipboard or by industrial boilers which have the technical and regulatory ability to recycle these types of products.
